ACAAM will host a virtual Specialty Showcase session for residents, medical students, and practicing physicians interested in learning more about addiction medicine on May 9 at 3 PM EDT.

This virtual informational session, led by ACAAM President Jeanette Tetrault, MD FACP FASAM, and Vice President for Medical and Academic Affairs, Tim Brennan, MD MPH, will provide an opportunity for anyone, no matter where they are in their career or decision-making process, to learn more about addiction medicine fellowships and the field as a potential career path.

ACAAM encourages fellowship programs to distribute promotional information to the residencies at their institutions, as well as affiliated medical schools, to help spread the word about this new event. We will also share widely on social media and through resident and medical student communities. 

In an effort to attract a larger audience to include more than those prepared to interview for a fellowship position, this year ACAAM is offering a Specialty Showcase in place of the virtual Recruitment Fair.
