COME TOGETHER: An Addiction Medicine Fellow Only Networking Event

FEBRUARY 2022 - Led by Dr. Charlene Dewey, MD MEd MACP, Vanderbilt University Center for Professional Health, this session identified the stresses of the times and focuses fellows’ ability to support resilience during the pandemic. Addiction medicine fellows participated in reflective practices and discussions that strengthened their resilience and supported behaviors to build resilience. Fellows identified their own selfcare and energy needs and practice MBSR to manage stress. This session also allowed them to develop a personal wellness goal to support enhanced resilience.

Charlene M. Dewey, MD MEd MACP, is The Joseph A. Johnson, Jr., Distinguished Leadership Professor (2018-19), Assistant Dean for Educator Development, Direct of the Educator Development Program, Director of the Center for Professional Health, and Chair of the Faculty Wellness Committee, Professor of Medical Education and Administration, and Professor of Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
