They offer a comprehensive collection of relevant, evidence-based content, can be used as a tool to test your knowledge and skills, and one (1) CME unit is given for each completed SAM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 2022 Addiction e-Practice Test (ADePT) – 18.5 CME CreditsADePT is a proven knowledge self-assessment and Board exam preparation tool developed without industry support or influence by an academic panel of addiction medicine experts from the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine (ACAAM). ADePT has been optimized based on psychometric analysis performed by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) and meets the high standards expected from an actual board exam. The formatting of ADePT is the closest available to the actual Board exam. The practice test has been fully updated and based on the evolving recognition of the importance of patient-centered language in addiction medicine, attention has been paid to using destigmatizing language. 2022 ADePT is an evidence-based, referenced, cognitive assessment tool including 187 questions addressing all 17 core content areas of the American Board of Preventive Medicine Addiction Medicine (ABPM) examination.
